Welcome!
I'm Kerry, and I'm the owner of Kerry's K9klub and Pet Services.
I provide you with a caring, trustworthy and professional level dog walking and pet care service within Macclesfield and the surrounding areas, within a 6 mile radius. Not only do I offer an area of service for dogs, I also offer an extensive range of services for cats, small animals, birds, equine amongst more. Whatever your needs, I will be delighted to help! Please see below for my service list.

Pets have been a huge part of my life since being a teenager.. large and small.
After my school days I headed straight into an Agricultural College in Shropshire, where I gained my NVQ2 in Animal Care and then continued on to gain my BTEC National Diploma in Animal Care and Management. These qualifications included modules in Animal First Aid, Animal Safe Handling, Animal Behaviour and Animal Nutrition.

After my studies I went straight into working with animals as a career. Over the years I gained experience in all kinds of weird and wonderful creatures! From rabbits, ferrets, birds, snakes and lizards... to lambing sheep, milking cows, goats, llamas, ponies and Shires... and then 8 years working as a Stable Hand at a large well known Thoroughbred Stud in Shropshire, and a Point to Point yard in Nantwich.
During these years I also gained experience in administering oral and topical medications, as well as subcutaneous and intramuscular injections. Nail clipping is another service I have experience in, so if you're happy to hold I'm happy to clip!

Since my college days I have also gained my Introductory Dog Training Certificate, and Animal Minds Psychology Certificate.

Rest assured, I am also DBS checked ✔ and fully insured ✔ so your pets are undoubtedly in safe hands.I offer a free initial meet and greet service to make sure everyone including your pet is happy and acquainted.

DOG WALKING

Walking is an important part of a dog's life to keep not just their body, but also their mind healthy. Regular exercise can help to reduce or eliminate behavioural issues. However sometimes your lifestyle can change and you need a little extra help.

I offer a professional dog walking service where I come to your home and walk your dog(s), making sure they have the exercise, play, companionship and fresh air that they need. This can be tailored to suit you and your dogs needs. If you opt for the longer 2 hour walks I can take them to one of the many beauty spots Cheshire has to offer, and let them really release some energy!

I offer solo and small group walks. I also specialise in dogs that may have nervous or social issues, behavioural issues, and the larger stronger breeds that some others may find a little too much.

I will never walk your dog off lead unless your dog displays a solid re-call on command, and with your consent.
Pick up and drop off is included, clean down, and fresh water and feed if needed.
I will also send you photographs of the fun your pup is having on their walk.

I offer walks Mon to Fri, 7am to 7pm. Some weekends may be available on request. An additional dog from the same household receives 50% off!

PET SITTING

Don’t feel guilty about leaving your pet alone. If you are going away, whether that's just for a day, overnight or a holiday, and would like your pet to stay in their own creature comforts and familiar surroundings, I offer a reliable and professional pet sitting service for all animals where I can care for your pup. I can tailor this to yours and your pets needs and ensure your pet keeps their familiar surroundings and smells, with some loving company!

This service includes walks, cleaning of their bowls, ensure they always have plenty of fresh water, and feed at their usual times. I am also trained in administering medications if your pet needs that extra attention.
I can also offer a sit in service if you were planning a night out, where I can sit with your pet if perhaps they have anxiety and don't like to be alone, giving them the reassurance they may need. This is charged at £12 per hour.

OVERNIGHT PET SITTING

For the duration of your holiday, stay away or even just one night, my overnight pet sitting service is perfect for providing your pet with round the clock care in their own creature comforts, ensuring they are not fretting and have company and care throughout the night. Overnight sitting also provides you with reassurance that your home is secure.

Whilst staying at your home I also offer other inclusive services such as watering plants, closing/opening curtains, bringing in your post, and light household duties. I will send you photos of your pet(s) so you can be assured that they are safe, and your dog will receive their regular feeding routine, plus walks, toilet break before bed time, and any mishaps cleaned up!

Overnight stay £60 per night.

A 20% deposit will be payable at the point of booking. This will ensure your slot. Please note this is non-refundable should you wish to cancel after the booking has been made.
The full balance is payable 24 hours before your house sit is due to begin.

PUPPY AND KITTEN VISITS

A new addition to your family can be an exciting time, however I understand there will be times when you are not able to be there for your constant puppy or kitten needs.

I offer puppy and kitten visits in your home. I can assist with their toilet training and behaviour, and ensure they have an abundance of love, fuss and play! If they have had any potty accidents I will clean up any messes for you.
Once your puppy is fully vaccinated, why not try the 45 minute service? This includes all of the same great elements as the 30 min visit, plus a 15 min lead walk!

EQUINE CARE

Going away on a trip or holiday? I can take care of your horse, pony or donkey whilst you're away. They remain in their comfortable home environment and keep their familiar routine. I worked with horses, donkeys and ponies for 9 years, and understand that each horse differs and have their own unique personalities and needs. I can work with you and tailor a routine that fits your horse.

WEDDING DOGGY SERVICE

Your pets are a huge part of your family, like one of your own, and wouldn't you love your best pal to be there and included in your extra special day, and make it even more spectacular and unique?!

I can make this happen and make your day as perfect as possible!!
I can chaperone and escort your dog to your wedding venue for the whole day from beginning to end, and they will be by your side in all of your professional photographs.
I will tailor this to your requirements, so your pup can be as involved as much or as little as you like.

This service starts with an initial meet and greet in person, to make sure your dog is acquainted, happy and comfortable with me. Once everyone is happy, I will sit with you and you can tell me exactly what you'd like with your dog's involvement in the day. Your plan will be bespoke to make sure everyone has a fantastic day!

I will ensure your dog is exercised before leaving, and then a good brush down to make sure they're looking prim and proper for the important day ahead! I will bring along their food and provide it at their usual eating times, some treats, and fresh water will be available at all times. Toilet breaks and walks will be offered regularly throughout the day.

I will try to provide your dog with a quiet area just for them, as sometimes they may need a rest if the atmosphere gets very busy or overwhelming in an unfamiliar environment, so this will give them some 'time-out' and relaxation if and when needed. I will bring along their bed or blanket and fave toys and sit with them.
Alternatively, I can offer a simple service where I bring along your dog just for the photoshoot, and return them home.

Your pup will be involved in all of your professional photographs... an irreplaceable magic memory!
